One suspect was shot by police and a manhunt was underway for a second suspect Tuesday after a fleeing vehicle rammed a DeKalb County police cruiser.
DeKalb police spokeswoman Mekka Parish said the incident began shortly before 4 a.m. when a man called 911 from the Blue Sky condominiums in the 3100 block of Memorial Drive, saying that two people had pulled a gun on him.

When officers arrived to investigate, a black sport utility vehicle tried to flee the complex, Parish said.
The vehicle “rammed the police cruiser multiple times, and at least one officer fired at the SUV,” Parish said.
“We do know that at least two people were inside,” she said. “One was hit in the arm, hand and leg, and taken to the hospital in serious condition. A second suspect fled into the woodline area.”
The wounded man was identified as Harry Stone Jr., 42, of Ellenwood. His condition had been upgraded to stable by late Tuesday afternoon, said Officer Marcus Hodge.
Stone will be charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, among other offenses, Hodge said.
The other man remained at large, Hodge said.
