The rapper landed in police custody after getting into a fight with his sister's boyfriend Friday afternoon, said Officer Marcus Hodge, a DeKalb police spokesman.
Richardson's sister, whose name was unavailable Sunday, called Richardson over to her North Hairston Road apartment after she and her boyfriend argued, Hodge said.
Richardson, 24, of Conyers was stabbed during the altercation, but did not suffer any life-threatening injuries, Hodge said.
Police have charged Richardson with felony use of a weapon in the the commission of a crime and with felony marijuana possession. Officers found the illegal drug during a search of his car, Hodge said. He also faces one count each of misdemeanor obstruction of police officers and battery.
The sister's boyfriend was not charged.
