Atlanta has its road race.
Lots of cities have their fireworks.

But only Dunwoody can claim to have the largest Independence Day parade in all of Georgia.
The Dunwoody Salutes America Fourth of July Parade Friday holds that honor now that WSB has dropped its "Salute 2 America" event in Atlanta.
Parade consultant Holly Mull says this year's event will be bigger than ever, with 30,000 spectators expected to line the 2.5 mile parade route to watch more than 100 floats, bands, antique vehicles, skateboarders, celebrities and politicians.
The theme of the 2008 parade is "Celebrating Freedom."
The parade begins at 9:30 and runs along Mount Vernon Road. It ends at Dunwoody Village where post-parade festivities, including live music, will be held and food will be served.
