The five candidates for DeKalb County chief executive officer and the three people running for the super District 6 county commission seat will appear at a forum Tuesday night near Emory University.
The event begins at 7 p.m. at the Glenn United Methodist Church, 1660 North Decatur Road NE, near Emory's main campus entrance at Oxford Road. Free parking is available in Emory's Fishburne parking deck.

The candidates for CEO — Joe Bembry, Burrell Ellis, Ann Kimbrough, Steen Miles and Stan Watson — are all Democrats, so the outcome will likely be decided by the July 15 primary or a runoff three weeks later. Same thing goes for the three super district 6 commission candidates — Don Broussard, George Maddox and incumbent Kathie Gannon.
The forum, the latest of several being held across the county, is sponsored by Emory University, the League of Women Voters and the Clifton Community Partnership.
