The intruder shot to death by an 81-year-old Tucker homeowner has been identified as a 25-year-old Atlanta man with a criminal record.
The man killed late Tuesday night was Jynard Marshall, DeKalb police officer Marcus Hodge said Thursday.

Marshall was paroled from prison in March 2005, about a year before the expiration of a two-year sentence for robbery by force and possession of cocaine in Fulton County, according to the Georgia Department of Corrections Web site.
His body was found in a home in the Tucker area near Lawrenceville Highway. The homeowner, Robert Jenkins, told police he fired in self-defense after finding a burglar in his kitchen. Police said Jenkins will not be charged.
Jenkins, who suffered a minor wound from a shot from his gun during the altercation, was out of the hospital Thursday, Hodge said.
