Obama: Jones used image without asking
Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama said Tuesday that he has not endorsed DeKalb CEO and U.S. Senate candidate Vernon Jones, despite a Jones' campaign flier that shows the two men's photos beneath the caption "Yes We Can."

The battle for CEO

There's a lot at stake for the five candidates seeking to replace DeKalb CEO Vernon Jones. The office exerts more control over the day-to-day operations of county government than a standard-issue commission chairman elsewhere. And unlike the mayor of Atlanta, the CEO has a direct role in the passage of local ordinances and policies.
