Honea did not know what if anything had been taken from the pawn shop, located next to one of Cobb’s most famous landmarks, the Big Chicken KFC restaurant at the corner of Cobb Parkway and Roswell Road.

Police dogs were brought to the scene to search for two suspects. Police did not have a detailed description of the two men.

Shoppers at the nearby Sam’s Club wondered aloud about why so many news helicopters were circling the area.

“I don’t know what is happening, but I hope they are not looking for me,” joked one Sam’s Club employee who was bringing in grocery baskets from the parking lot.
