Virginia Mitchell, of Lithia Springs, was traveling west on Anneewakee Road at about 7:20 p.m. when her Nissan was struck by a pickup truck driven by 46-year-old Ronald Watson, said Cosper. Watson’s truck crossed the center line, according to Cosper.

Cosper said alcohol was not a factor and a Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team is now investigating the accident.
