The second suspect in a weekend robbery in Acworth is in custody. Atlanta police arrested Antone Tamaurs Green on Monday night. Green was later booked into the Acworth jail.
Green, 23, is one of two suspects in the gunpoint robbery of a store clerk who was making a drop at a BB&T branch at 4900 Ross Road on Sunday.
Acworth police believe Green put a gun to the woman’s head and took the money she was carrying. He fled in a waiting Mazda Protege. Police chased the Protege and later arrested Emmett Charles McClaurin, the alleged driver of the getaway car, in Cartersville.
McClaurin, 23, was arrested and charged with reckless driving, aggravated assault, fleeing or attempting to elude and armed robbery.
Green is charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
