One man arrested in weekend armed robbery

Acworth police have arrested one man and are looking for another in a weekend armed robbery of a store clerk who was making a drop at a BB&T bank.
On Sunday morning, an employee of a Dollar General store was making a drop at the BB&T branch at 4900 Ross Road when a man put a gun to her head. The man took the money bag and ran into a waiting car.
Police responding to the call chased the driver of a brown Mazda Protege, which the suspects abandoned. Investigators tracked down the driver of the get-away car, Emmett Charles McClaurin, 23, in Cartersville. McClaurin was arrested and charged with reckless driving, aggravated assault, fleeing or attempting to elude and armed robbery.
According to McClaurin’s arrest warrant, the Cartersville man tried to run down a police officer during the chase.
Acworth Police are still looking for Antone Tamaurs Green, 23. They have issued an arrest warrant for Green, of Acworth, accusing him of armed robbery, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
According to Green’s arrest warrant, he is the suspect who robbed the victim at gunpoint.
Green is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
