A Cobb County woman was sentenced to life in prison Tuesday in the torching death of her friend.
Anjail Muhammad was given life without the possibility of parole. A jury found her guilty last week of murder and arson in the death of her friend Nodiana Antoine in 2003.

Authorities said Muhammad and Antoine had been arguing at a gas station on May 25, 2003, when Muhammed sprayed Antoine with gasoline and set her on fire. Antoine died about six weeks later at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.
Cobb County Superior Court Judge J. Schuster sentenced also sentenced Muhammed to 13 years on the arson charge to run concurrent with the life sentence.
