Police ID murder victim

Clayton County police Monday identified a man killed in a weekend shooting at a College Park apartment.

The incident happened at the Meadowview Apartments on Meadow Circle, Clayton County police Lt. Rebecca Brown said.

Larry Davis, 34, was shot just before 9 p.m. Saturday, apparently during an an argument with an intoxicated family member, Brown said.

Davis was taken to Southern Regional Medical Center, where he later died.

Police arrested Eric Patterson, 30, and charged him with murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and obstruction.
