Clayton County police said a Savannah man robbed and duct-taped the manager of a Forest Park business Thursday, then tried to elude capture by running back to his motel room, disrobing and pretending to take a shower.
Police said they pulled a wet and naked Jarvis Cassius Reddick, 27, from his room at the Days Inn on Ga. 85. He is charged with armed robbery, theft by receiving stolen property and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Reddick is being held without bond in the Clayton County Jail.

Edwin Nobis, the manager of nearby Carpet Liquidators, identified Reddick as the man who held a gun to his head, demanded money and rifled the store before being scared away by a customer, police said.
Police said a female sharing Reddick's room was seen taking a bag from that room and stashing it in another room. A search of that room uncovered the bag, which contained the gun used in the robbery, police said.
Police also said a handwritten note in the bag stated that the note holder had a gun and the recipient was being robbed.
