Police are looking for a man who allegedly stalked a young woman and 10-year-old girl last weekend in a Cherokee County subdivision.
Last Saturday, Woodstock Police say, an 18-year-old woman was followed by the suspect while jogging in the Brookshire community, located off Ridgewalk Parkway. On Sunday a 10-year-old girl was followed by a man while walking her dog, police report. The girl’s father told investigators the suspect got out of his van and ran after his daughter, who was able to evade the stalker after he fell down.
The man was seen driving a white minivan, possibly a Honda Odyssey or Chrysler Town & Country. He’s described as a white male in his late 20s, about 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds with short brown hair.
“We are hoping that someone saw the suspect riding through the neighborhood this past weekend,” said Woodstock Police spokesman Paul Brown.
