Woodstock police look for home-invasion suspect

Woodstock police have released a composite sketch of a suspected home invader who fled after being struck with a dining room chair.

The suspect of Wednesday’s home invasion is described as a white man about 30, with light blond hair and a scar on his left cheek.

He’s wanted for allegedly forcing his way into the home of Trina Baldwin at Walden Chase apartments in Woodstock when Baldwin responded to a knock at her door about 12:40 p.m.

Baldwin was home alone with her 3-year-old son. Police said she struggled with the attacker, toppling over a fish aquarium. She then picked up a dining room chair and struck the man, who then left the apartment. Anyone with any information is urged to contact the Investigative Services Division of the Woodstock Police Department at (770) 592-6030.
