Woodstock police suspect arson in fires that destroyed a local playground and burned a plastic bicycle on the grounds of a daycare center.
"It's shortly after the end of the school year, kids are still feeling kind of restless, so more than likely it's a couple of juveniles," Woodstock police Chief Ric Moss said. "I don't know if they had any real intent to start fires, but take a couple of kids with some matches or a lighter, and the rest is history."

A fire was discovered Thursday morning at 4 a.m. in a playground in the Deer Run West subdivision.
As investigators on bicycles and on foot went through the community and passed out flyers, they found the charred bicycle at nearby Sunbrook Academy.
"You've got two separate locations without any other means to ignite other than with a litle bit of help," Moss said.
He said Woodstock fire investigators determined the point of origin and believe there was some type of ignition source, although there was no clear evidence of an incendiary device or flammable liquids.
"The playground sat in the middle of a pile of mulch, so it's rather flammable," Moss said. "The bicycle was in the middle of a paved area."
He said police are hoping a parent or another child will provide a tip.
"Maybe, they'll hear some kids bragging," he said.
