Georgia college student suspended for having guns on campus

Reinhardt College in Waleska has suspended a student who was arrested on campus after authorities say he was found with two shotguns and 225 rounds of ammunition.

Twenty-four-year-old Ryan Sexson is charged with carrying a weapon on campus and making terroristic threats. A police report says Sexson was being questioned early Saturday and told a security guard, "If I were you, I would be scared for your life right now."

Reinhardt College Dean of Students Roger Lee says Sexson is suspended until the investigation by the school and the Cherokee County Sheriff's Department is complete. He is free on bond.

Before his arrest, Sexson had been banned from living on campus after authorities said guns and knives were found in his dormitory room.
