Residents may water existing landscaping with a hand-held hose for 25 minutes a day from midnight to 10 a.m. on designated days: odd-numbered addresses on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays and even-numbered addresses on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. The hose must have a standard spray nozzle that automatically turns off when it is not hand held.
Landscaping that has been in place for less than 30 days may be watered up to three days a week within the hours of midnight and 10 a.m. for 10 consecutive weeks and during plant installation. Odd-numbered addresses may hand water on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays and even-numbered addresses on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Beginning March 15, 2008, anyone watering newly installed landscaping must register with the Outdoor Water Use Registration program at http://www.urbanagcouncil.com.
