A former disc jockey for Atlanta radio station WVEE who said she was not involved in a fire at a townhouse in Union City, is now no longer a person of interest in the fire, officials say.

Fulton County fire authorities had sought Porsche Foxx, whose real name is Stephanie Calhoun, and a man for questioning in connection with the fire. Foxx said during a news conference Tuesday she had been sleeping and woke to people calling to tell her authorities wanted to talk to her about the fire.

Chief Fire Marshal Keith Padgett says Foxx answered questions from investigators. He says he’s seen no evidence to prove Foxx was at the scene and she is no longer a person of interest in the Tuesday morning fire off Flat Shoals Road.

The radio station fired Foxx after she was arrested for driving under the influence in December 2004, rehired her in 2007 and fired her again last November.
