Lane closures extended on Downtown Connector

Falcons fans, beware: Traffic on the Downtown Connector could be a headache early this afternoon as you head to the game at the Georgia Dome.

Georgia Department of Transportation work crews will need to extend closures of three right southbound lanes between Williams Street and I-20 until 2 p.m.

DOT representatives said crews might be able to open the lanes earlier. The game against the Carolina Panthers starts at 4:15 p.m.
