Atlanta police have made a handful of arrests at three city intersections known as gathering spots for cross-dressing prostitutes.
Police arrested five men, most of them dressed as women, in the early-morning hours Friday, the reports said. The men were not charged with soliciting prostitution, but rather for soliciting rides.

The locations targeted were Fourth and Spring streets, Third and Spring streets and Fourth and West Peachtree streets.
Arrested were: Christopher Storey, 19; Roy Edward Lee, 21, of Tucker; Shawn Green, 26, of Decatur; Jerry F. Broome III, 23, of Gainesville; and Randy G. Collins, 32, of New Orleans.
Collins’ listed occupation on the police report is “Lady of the Night,” while Lee and Broome were listed as prostitutes.
At 1:50 a.m., police say they watched Collins stop a motorist and try to get a ride, a report said. He was wearing a black nightgown, high heels and had a woman’s purse with several condoms, the report said.
About an hour later, at Fourth and Peachtree, Green got into a burgundy sedan and was arrested after police pulled over the car.
“The accused was dressed in women’s clothing and in possession of a purse which contained several condoms,” a police report said.
Green was wearing a pink halter top and “booty shorts,” the report said.
