Two South Fulton schools get new principals
Creekside High and Bannekar High will welcome new principals next year

Two existing South Fulton County schools, and a new one, have been assigned principals.

Michael Robinson, current principal at Creekside High, has been named leader of the new South Fulton high school under construction.

In this new role, Robinson will be responsible for forming a committee that will develop unique school identity, such as its official name, mascot and colors. The school is scheduled to open in August 2009.

Robinson received his bachelor's degree from the University of the District of Columbia.

William Bradley, principal of Woodland Middle, has been assigned to Banneker High.

Bradley has been with the school district for more than 22 years. He's been a teacher, assistant principal and principal at various schools.

He earned his bachelor's degree from Furman University, a master's degree from The State University at West Georgia, and a law degree from The John Marshall Law School.

New to the school system is LaRoyce Sublett, who has been named principal of Hamilton E. Holmes Elementary.

Sublett is currently the interim principal at Benjamin S. Carson Middle School in Atlanta. He has been a principal, assistant principal and teacher in Texas as well as an adjunct college professor in both Georgia and Texas. He has a bachelor's degree from the University of Houston, a master's degree in sociology and a doctorate in curriculum and instruction from Texas Southern University.
