A global accounting firm hired to streamline operations and clean up finances at Grady Memorial Hospital is slated to report today to the hospital board.
The Grady board hired PricewaterhouseCoopers in October, hoping the firm could stem the hospital's multimillion deficits.

The contract with the company could cost Grady up to $27 million but could generate savings and new revenue exceeding $135 million.
The accounting firm won't be paid until it identifies savings of $10 million, company officials said.
The company is expected to address problems with Grady's handling of billing, patient information and other paperwork issues.
