Easter's on its way, but the Easter egg hunt at Callanwolde is not.
The fine arts center has announced its annual "Eggstravaganza" has been called off this year, done in by parking woes.

"It is really sad," said publicity and arts events director Susan Summers. "We're all really disappointed."
The event, which draws hundreds of eager little hunters, would have been from 10 a.m. to noon on March 22.
In years past, families were able to park at a church across the street. This year, a conflicting event has booked the parking lot, Summers said. Located on busy Briarcliff Road, Callanwolde isn't close enough to other available parking, and a shuttle wouldn't make sense anyway, as lots of guests arrive by stroller.
"We are just really concerned that there could be safety issues," Summers said.
