WOW Cafe to open wing restaurants in Georgia

The Georgia developer for WOW Cafe & Wingery plans to open restaurants in Alpharetta, Warner Robins and Macon early next year.

WOW Cafe, a wings chain based in a New Orleans suburb, has nine locations in Georgia. The chain announced Monday that metro Atlanta businessman Eddie Spencer has secured the developer rights for Georgia. Spencer and his business partners have been involved in franchising Dunkin’ Donuts, Pizza Hut, Long John Silver’s and Subway restaurants.

The deal gives Spencer the right to directly open or franchise 100 locations in Georgia. He expects to open Alpharetta in January, Warner Robins in March and Macon later in the spring.
