It’s almost heeerrree. One of the most dined out nights of the year (and we’re still recovering from the Holidays. OY!)
So who does that voodoo that you do so well for Valentine’s Day? Do you have a reservation at a local restaurant? Where? How many weeks in advance did you have to make the reservation? Is someplace new for you, or do you visit the same place as a tradition each year?

My wife and I don’t eat out much at all and we really don’t do much for V-day. A few years ago we were going to some tight financial times, I decided to prepare a nice (as nice as I could $$) meal at home. We also bought each other a card. So we had a decent steak with wilted spinach and sauteed onions & shrooms.
She gave me my card, I opened and read it and just smiled really big. Then I gave her her card when she opened it and read it she knew why I smiled, we had picked out the exact same cards for each other!

I avoid the hype. I make a wonderful dinner for half the cost at home.
In the past I have done Valentine’s dinner out anywhere from Pappadaux or Houston’s down to Pizza….despite the fact this is ‘table talk” this is one holiday where it really is not about the food!
