How Are Restaurants Handling the Water Crisis?

I noticed a sign on the door at Flying Biscuit Midtown this morning that due to the drought they will not bring water to the table unless it is ordered.

As the drought worsens, we will all be called upon to conserve water. What do you think restaurants can do to help the water crisis? What restaurants in your area are already taking measures to conserve water?

I won’t be surprised if the standard operating procedure becomes that restaurants will never serve water again, but will SELL bottled water.

I agree, Thirsty, and I can see me now carrying bottles of water wherever I go.

I’ve seen the same signs around, too and I think it’s a great practice - even IF AND WHEN we come out of this drought. Personally, I don’t drink most of the water served to me anyway.

I’m a cocktail kinda guy. :)
