OK I will admit that my favs are from a chain: Wild Wing. They have so many really good flavors, they are family friendly, they are fun, and of course there is the beer.

Three Dollar Cafe used to have good wings…have not been in quite awhile though.

AJC lists Famous Yardbird. These guys do all things chicken right. Try the Richard Chickson (chicken salad sandwich). I order it every time I go, delicious.

As for wings, Wild Wing Cafe in Marietta is the best, cannot believe it was not even suggested…

The most incredible wings ever has to be at Twain’s in Decatur. They have a chipolte chicken wing, and now I can never go back to the typical red, vinegar and margarine sauce from everywhere else. The wings are crisp, the sauce is thick, you too, will be forever changed and dreaming about these once you’ve had one. Plus, Twains has a brewery in house to quench your thirsty throats. Hurry.

Hurricane Wings. Corner of the East-West Connector and Floyd Road in Austell. Great wings and fries. Heat is rated on a hurricane type scale with 1 being mildest and 5 being the hottest. Many different flavors and they will toss the fries in the same or different sauce/rub. Try the Chile-Lime!

Taco Mac in Va-Highlands, no question. They have the plumpest wings and the best hot sauce in town. Order them “swimming” to get the best flavor. They are better there than any of the other Taco Mac locations I’ve tried, although they are all good.

Honorable mention goes to Manuel’s Tavern. I rarely look past the burgers and sandwiches there, but I was surprised at how tasty the crispy wings are.

AMEN to Three Dollar Cafe, on Roswell Road, not only are the wings cooked to perfection but the smiling appreciative owners make my week when I come in and they actually recognize us! Blue cheese is the best, celery crisp and fresh and the waitresses know I mean it when I ask for extra lime with my diet coke. We drive from Snellville usually once a week to get our wing on!!!

Obviously, you guys did not make it to Cumming when you were doing your “wing search”. The BEST wings that I have had are at Rooster’s Cafe in Cumming (and now they have a second location in Dahlonega). What makes these wings even better is the home-made ranch and bleu cheese dressings. CAN’T BE BEAT!!! They also have a cajun spice wing that will top anyone. Take a short drive to Cumming and see what I mean!

If you like Hot Wings, then its Three Dollar Cafe (Hightower Trail). Lou started the joint in the 80s - didn’t take credit cards back then.

Get ‘em with a squash casserole and a frosty beer.

Lemon pepper? breading? ON WINGS?! A martini, with wings?? Puh-leeeeze. You sound like tourists… Go find a rain forest.
