I see there are no comments because the link to this topic is broken. AJC really needs to do better with this.
In any case, the mojito is my favorite summer drink. The M Bar on Peters Street by the Georgia Dome has a great mojito menu. django on Peachtree served me the best pinapple mojito for a reasonable price.

Tara Humata in Alpharetta makes a margarita you can swim in it’s so big. One of those on their outdoor patio and some of the best Mexican food on the northside.

Mojitos son mis favoritos!
The mojitos at No Mas Cantina are like punch! Yumm! Hands down, the best in the city!
Mojitos for $5 at Janean’s on Piedmont on Tuesdays! Yumm again :)
Even Cheeseburgers in Paradise has a decent Mango Peach Mojito.

MY HOUSE on weekend nights. The neighbors all gather and we invent new cocktails……Everyone brings a bottle, and we see what happens……makes for interesting conversation too. And it’s much cheaper and way more fun to stay home and drink!!! No one is driving afterwards.

We drink “The Recipe” on the porch of our Decatur home. It involves fresh lime juice, orange liqueur, tequila, simple syrup and orange flavored fizzy water. It always ends up another adventure with Beauregard and Preston, psuedonyms for my partner and a friend. We solve all the world’s problems and don’t flirt with disaster by driving anywhere.

The “Georgiapolitan” at the Tosca Blu at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel is really light and fruity for summer.

The Sedgewick Margarita at PURE in Alpharetta destroys anything Tara Humata has to offer. Tara Humata is one giant glass of maragrita mix and that’s it. You can taste tequila in a good maragrita, trust me and try it.

Watermelon flavored vodka with pink lemonade. It just screams summer!! It is very refreshing and not too sweet if the lemonade is made right.
