Once upon a time we’d hit Eatzi’s. Fresh market just doesn’t compare in that department.

A bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken with all the fixins. Umum gooood.

Metrofresh in Midtown is the best. High quality and fresh ingredients that travel well.

Publix deli. Excellent food, and you don’t pay for a trendy name or address.

Trader Joe’s. Where else can you get good food and that fabulously cheap wine?

Without any question, the best picnic fare is from OK Cafe on West Paces Ferry and Northside Drive for Take Out. Close drive to the River for perfect get away. Eatzi’s is closed now. Also, Alon’s on Highland Ave is great at a higher price point, especially the deserts.

The Lawrenceville Farmers Market every Saturday 8-12 you can get all your speciality fruits and veggies fresh herbs etc. There are many vendors there come an check it out .

Folks used to have great picnic fare. I also love the OK Cafe and Whole Foods!
