Eclipse di Luna has excellent tapas and it goes perfectly with their awesome sangria. It’s the perfect way to dine in the summer with everyone at the table sharing appetizer styles. They also have specials so it is not the same menu each time you go.

Vino Libro is in the new Glenwood Park shopping center. It’s a cool little place with a huge wine selection & delicious tapas dishes. Their tapas has a wider range of dishes to suite everyone’s tastes. I’ve been three times in the last 6 weeks & every experience was great! They have a cozy atmosphere with live jazz too!

Blue Grotto in Sandy Springs has a good selection of tapas in a funky atmosphere. From appetizers to crawfish to lamb, beef, shrimp and scallops. Good neighborhood spot with no pretension. Try it!

The best tapas in Atlanta are at a place that never even mentions the word tapas - RATHBUNS. They always have over a dozen plus small plates ranging in price from 5-12$. The quality of these dishes is unsurpassed in Atlanta. Go to Rathbuns and forget about a big plate and split many smalls with you and your party. Best deal (quality) dining out in Atlanta.

Pura Vida, just outside of VA Highlands, by far has the most flavorful & creative tapas in all of Atlanta. The menus is huge and they have great specials & homemade ice creams. And their mojitos are the best!

Sweet Devil Moon in Midtown and Pura Vida in the Highlands are my two favorites. The Repollo Saltado de Tofu at SDM and the Yuca Frita at Pura Vida are the best (and I agree, Pura Vida has the best mojito in town)!

I appreciate the authenticity of Eclipse di Luna — not until recently was it difficult to find some of the Spanish ingredients that they use.

Loca Luna on Piedmont in midtown has the best tapas hands down. The prices are great and they have a very good variety to choose from.

If you are anywhere near Johns Creek you should hit Blue Grotto. Each plate is almost like a miniature meal instead of just a single food. The beef tenderloin has mashed potatoes, the pistachio crusted shrimp (perhaps the best thing on the menu) has cucumber salad, the scallops have cheese grits. I can’t speak for the other drinks, but I give high marks to the martini’s as well.

I love RARE. It’s a soul food tapas spot on Piedmont. All of their items served are just that…RARE! The Lobster Mac and Cheese is the best! The atmosphere is great and they show the coolest movies.

Fuego on Crescent Ave in Midtown is my favorite. I like the fact that most of the choices are latin/spanish influenced and you can eat there without dropping a ton of $$$

By far this is RARE. the dishes are like no other in the city, and done to perfection. The place is like no other as well. All of the places mentioned have VERY similar dishes. Rare is just that. Rare!

Without a doubt, of the tapas restaurants I have been to, La Pura Vida has the most imaginative and best tasting entries that I have experienced.
