Here’s some hot charity news for you.
Some of the buffest local firefighters, featured in the Georgia Heat Firefighters Calendar, will be on hand Wednesday to meet fans and sign their sizzling photos.
The 2009 calendars are $15 each and benefit the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation. The organization partners with firefighting units to provide fire safety and prevention education and supports Georgia burn centers and victims.
The foundation was good enough to send pix of a few of the cover models for, uh, research purposes. We’ve posted them here as a public service. You know, so you’ll be able to recognize the guys if you show up for the signing.

The calendar signing is from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Peachtree Center Mall food court, at 231 Peachtree St. in downtown Atlanta.

Finally, I can somewhat brag about the Atlanta firefighters. I’ve enjoyed viewing pictures of the New Yorker firefighters in the past. Hopefully, this new look will make its way to SW Atlanta. Those firefighters need some exercise.

The guys look great…but why did the photographer slick them all up with oil. They look too greasy… Hot but greasy. Oh and the 1st guys pants look like they need to be straightenend out. They look like they are on sideways. :0)

To Lefty: just because you are ripped up and have cut up abs and muscles DOES NOT ALWAYS necessarily mean you are using performance enhancing drugs. such a stereotype of those who obviously probably don’t even go to the gym!!

Lefty, from one who has a Fireman at her side - they do not use enhancers- mainly because they have unannounced drug test on a regular basis. Don’t be mad- maybe you should change your profession.

i’ve always been a sucker for a man in a firefighter uniform. no disrespect to all other counties, but for some reason dekalb county has the most attractive firefighters i’ve ever seen! is it part of the job requirement?? lol
