Happy Birthday Mei Lan !!

She’s our little Warrior Princess, she’s fearless, bold, and fun. She’s our sweet Southern Little Miss, basking in the sun. She’s our sultry Steel Magnolia, lying sprawled across her logs. She’s the sparkling eyes and gorgeous face that launched a thousand blogs.

She fights the Mommie Monster, then she fiddles with her toes. There’s nowhere in the rooms and yards she hasn’t stuck her nose. She’s our tiny Panda Venus rising from her drinking bowl. She’s given us the Lani Trot and Lani Hammock Roll.

She’s the best of both her parents; goofy, funny, bright, and bold. Today we celebrate her life: Our Mei Lan’s one year old!! So Happy Birthday, little Panda darlin’. We love you. And keepers, bloggers, watchers all…we can’t wait for Year Two!!!!
