I flew in for week long training and needed a drop in childcare center that was going to provide a high quality experience for my child. FIO360 exceeded my expectations. The centers approach to childcare was amazing, from the amazing meals prepared by the staff Chef to the directors interaction with the parents and children.

I toured the facility last week with the program director and was really impressed. My background is in primary education and it is clear that while this place is only just starting up, it will soon be a premier place for children in Atlanta. Their choice to implement the Pyramid curriculum is really progressive.

I read some of the other comments about the place being expensive and all I can think is that It should be expensive
Fio is the nicest place in town and offers things like organic meals that you can't get anywhere else.

It's a little too clean for me. How will the kids' bodies react when they meet with germs/dirt in the real world. Seems like this environment's overcleanliness and purity might stifle the development of natural immunity to certain things - but of course we won't know that until they are grown.

Take my boy to the "real" playground. Bring him home... give him a bath. Old school.

With the Techwood closing and closure of 14th street bridge, the location of this place makes it impractical for most. Northside Dr. and Howell Mill Rd. are clogged like anything during rush hours due to traffic rerouted there because of construction.

I for one would rather use a cheap daycare near my home and get more time with my daughter than spend an extra 30 minutes in traffic caused by the construction on techwood, 10th and 14th.

I am very proud of what FIO 360 stands for and is accomplishing... they are not offering extravagant, luxurious day care for the "filty rich"... they are offering an alternative, healthier option for parents who actually care about the environment and the impact it has on their children.

We all find a way to afford whatever it is we really want, be at a luxury car, pricey home or expensive vacations - parents who choose to spend their well earned money on their children have that right, without criticism from others.

Live and let live... if you can afford to stay home with your child that is great and wonderful - more power to you. If you must work or have a career that matters to you, it doesnt mean you love your kids less... it means you have made your choice and you are entitled to do so and then provide for the welfare of your children as you see fit.

Quit being negative and judgemental. Fio360 has dreamed up an amazing place for children that we would all have loved to have attended or have our children attend.

PS: they do offer assistance/less expensive programs for those who cannot afford their standard pricing.

Finding quality childcare intown is very difficult (I started looking as soon as I found out I was pregnant), as is making the decision whether to be a working vs. a stay at home mom. We all want what is best for our children and at the end of the day we have to live with the choices we make. It is a shame that so many want to pass judgement. Just because I send my kid to a pricey daycare doesn't mean: 1) that I am not a good mother; 2) that I am trying to get out of parenting; 3) that we are filthy rich; or 4) that kids don't benefit from what a facility like this has to offer. Stop being so hateful, people.

I can't say enough about Fio 360!! I LOVE it! My son gets so much love and attention while he's there. I'm so happy with our decisoin to send our son there. The teachers and staff truly care about him and have been fantastic! He's had a lot of fun and made some friends. Fio cares about the children and the parents. My opinion is that money is no object when it comes to giving your children the best and putting them in the best possible situation if you can't stay home with them but I guess not everyone feels that way.

The price is comparbale with other high-end facilities like Creme de la Creme plus you get a "green" facility which is better for your kids. Plus, I believe there are a number of discounted spots reserved for those who cannot afford the standard price tag.

"In line with the market"? Really? The downtown Atlanta daycare market trend is about $200/week for infants and $150/week for preschoolers. And I'm talking about quality programs like Centennial Place YMCA and Sheltering Arms.

What it all boils down to is a loving environment where children are encouraged to explore and learn. Organic environments and salt water tables will not make any difference to a child who just wants to know they are loved.

For those who can afford it, more power to you. But money isn't everything. Your child probably would prefer to spend the day with you at home. There is no substitute for home. Quality time, not quality care.
