You need $4.1 million for the keys, but only $20 for a tour of the Regents Park home selected as this year's Southern Accents Showhouse.
This week, the three-story, 6,500-square-foot townhome on Peachtree Road opens its stately doors to a design-hungry public curious about the interiors of one of Buckhead's most lavish residential projects now on the market.

Inside Unit 16, one of 23 townhomes and flats, immaculate interiors glisten with the finest of finishings and furnishings —high-end touches like elaborate built-ins, an elevator and a master suite kitchen off a private bath — all thoughtfully designed by Yong Pak and Charles Heydt of Pak Heydt & Associates.
After selecting the Atlanta home to feature in the annual event, Southern Accents magazine called on renowned Atlanta interior designer Dan Carithers to oversee the home's interiors. A walk through the home is a visual feast of design finery, with everything from floors to ceiling provided by vendors like Stone Age Designs and Hickory Chair. Carithers' own furniture line by Sherrill Furniture is on display throughout the home, as are rare pieces from Atlanta sources like William Word Fine Antiques and the Gables Antiques.
And yes, almost everything is for sale. One can purchase the home (16 of the development's units are still available), or buy the house with furniture included. On a tighter budget? Buy a single piece, or leave with nothing more than design inspiration.
Look for these style standouts:
• Fabric, fabric, fabric: Carithers uses repetition of fabrics on linens, upholstery and walls. Take, for instance, the master bedroom walls, covered in a Schumacher cream and beige crewel fabric — the same material found on the skirted bedside table. A tan houndstooth fabric on the sofa is repeated on the drapes and button-tufted headboard. And in one of the home's two guest bedrooms, see how Carithers used the same blue-gray toile (Ladies & Gentlemen by Hodsoll McKenzie) on nearly every piece of upholstery.
• Seats for all sizes: Little ones like luxury, too. Throughout the home, child-size chairs were sprinkled among traditionally sized pieces. Look for the petite Louis XV slipper chairs in the formal living room, or kid-friendly Orkney chairs in the playroom.
• Button-tuft this: Carithers' use of button-tufted pieces gives the home an instant dose of comfort and glamour. From the antique leather armchairs in the keeping room to the chocolate velvet chaise in the living room to occasional chairs found throughout the home, button-tufting helps unite the home's gracious feel.
• Art underfoot: Bathroom flooring doesn't have to be boring, especially if you have high-end bath design company Waterworks creating the space. The company's signature black-ribbonesque "monogram" stone tile flooring is the highlight of the main floor powder room. In the master suite's his and her bathrooms, get inspired by the "fading field" white and cream stone tile flooring in the "her' suite, or the French gray lattice-bordered tile work in "his" private bath.
