But he threw an interception and was constantly chased around by Clemson's lightly regarded defense. Georgia's Todd Gurley ran for 154 yards and two touchdowns. Georgia's sophomore running back Todd Gurley has averaged 143 yards per game rushing against two Top 10 teams. He currently ranks seventh in the nation in rushing average after netting 288 rushing yards (6.9 yards per carry) and 3 touchdowns. Gurley had 1,745 all-purpose yards and 18 touchdowns as a freshman.

Dogs have resolve but they’re running out of bodies

If nothing else, Georgia has ensured at least one thing about its season. Regardless of where the rest of the schedule takes them, whether its to an SEC championship, a BCS bowl bid or a national title, there will be no claims from outsiders that this team received too many breaks and escaped health issues, no suggestions that the road to success was lined with lollipops and unicorns.
