Puff Daddy, Bad Boy alums to perform at Tribeca premiere of the label’s documentary

April 27 at Tribeca Film Festival will be all about the Bad Boy.

As part of the world premiere of Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop: The Bad Boy Story, Puff Daddy (a.k.a. P. Diddy, a.k.a. Diddy, a.k.a. Sean Combs) will reunite with some of the biggest names from his label’s history for a special performance.

Lil’ Kim, Faith Evans, and Mase are joining the mogul at New York’s Beacon Theatre at the 16th annual festival.

“New York is home. This is where Bad Boy began, where the movement started. There was never a question in my mind that this film would premiere right here where it all started,” said Combs in a statement. “This is the story of our family — the biggest names in hip-hop history — and what happens when we came together for the first time in two decades. There were ups and downs, a lot of hard work and sacrifice — and more than anything, you see that love that only exists in a family.”

The Bad Boy Story chronicles the label’s origins to the painful death of breakout star Notorious B.I.G. The film also goes behind the scenes of Combs’s efforts to bring together Bad Boy alumni for a special 20th anniversary celebration concert last year in Brooklyn.

Tickets go on sale Tuesday.
