Support local artists this weekend at the Acworth Art Fest.

Spring has sprung all around the Atlanta area, and this weekend's events will have you surrounded by festivals, flowers and friends.

Here's what's happening:

Cobb

Marietta Square Art Walk. 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, April 7. Free. Historic Marietta Square. Depot St., Marietta. www.artwalkmarietta.com.

Celebrate and support local artists this Friday at the Marietta Square Art Walk. It all takes place at the Historic Marietta Square, and will feature local art, live music, a self-guided walking tour, performances and more.

Acworth Art Fest 2017. 10 am. to 6 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 8 and 9. Free. Historic Downtown Acworth. 4415 Senator Russell Blvd., Acworth. www.acworth.splashfestivals.com.

The Acworth Art Fest returns throughout the weekend with works from over 100 artisans from all around the country. Along with pottery, paintings, folk art, metalwork, glasswork and jewelry, you'll also get a chance to take your kiddos to the Kidz Zone and peruse the shops along Acworth's Historic Downtown.

The Decatur Glassblowing Hot Shop and Gallery will host a special Glass Easter Egg class this weekend, which will include safety instruction, a demonstration of tools and equipment, followed by working one-on-one with an instructor to make your own glass egg in class.
