The Georgia Boy Choir will begin recording its second CD this week.

The yet-untitled project will contain holiday classics and traditional Christmas music, said David R. White, the choir’s artistic director and conductor. The group’s last album, “God Bless Us Everyone: Christmas with the Georgia Boy Choir”, was released in 2012

“It seems a shame that while we have the music in our repertoire, not to capture it and record it,” he said. “Over the years a lot of people ask, ‘when are you going to make another CD?’ They’re requested rather frequently, especially when we travel international.”

The Georgia Boy Choir will tour Ireland and Scotland this summer.

There are about 85 members of the choir, ranging in age from five through high school. Between 30 and 35 - members of the Concert Choir and the Young Men’s Ensemble - will be involved in recording the CD.
