CORRECTIONS

> The Piedmont Park Conservancy has authorized $50,000 toward exploratory drilling for water in the park, but it has spent $37,000 for two initial drillings. A story in the Sept. 9 Metro section incorrectly stated the amount of money the conservancy has paid for the drillings.

> The Blue Ridge Parkway does not pass through Tennessee. An Associated Press story that ran in Sunday’s Travel section incorrectly stated otherwise.

> A news brief in Saturday’s Metro section about charges in an infant’s death was a report mistakenly reprinted from that date a year ago.

> Former Braves announcer Don Sutton attended Skip Caray’s funeral service Aug. 11, according to a spokesperson for the Washington Nationals. A Q&A item in the Sept. 5 Metro section was incorrect on that matter.
