Honoring Nurses of Excellence
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and ajcjobs are proud to honor nurses who went above and beyond the call of duty in 2006.
We received 255 nominations (see full list) for the second annual ajcjobs Nursing Excellence Awards. Because the profession is filled with skilled, compassionate and caring people, it was a challenge for the independent panel of judges to narrow the nominees to 10 finalists.
From these finalists, three top honorees were announced at an awards luncheon on Wednesday May 9, 2007. We would like to congratulate the top three honorees: Connie Trent, Christina Woods and Stephanie Rollins and thank our Keynote speaker, Melissa Carter from the Bert Show on Q100. All the nurses and the people who nominated them had great stories to tell.
