"ORL Nursing: March Madness - Learn from the Best," will be the subject of the spring meeting of the Atlanta Regional Chapter of the Society of Otorhinolaryngology and Head-Neck Nurses. The conference will be at the Winship Cancer Institute (Building C) at Emory University in Atlanta. The cost will be $50 for members and $75 for nonmembers (lunch included). "The Heart, Courage and Brains of Nursing Research," presented by the Center for Health and Learning, will be held from 7:15 a.m. to 2:10 p.m. at the Gwinnett Center meeting rooms in Duluth. "Chronic Kidney Disease: The Role of Drug Therapy - 2006," will be presented by the Dogwood Chapter of the American Nephrology Nurses Association. The March 24 event will be a dinner presentation from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Atlanta Fish Market, 265 Pharr Road in Atlanta. The March 25 program, which will be at Emory Crawford Long Hospital (Glenn Building Auditorium), will start at 7:30 a.m. Contact hours are available. If registration form is postmarked by Feb. 28, the cost is $50 for ANNA members and $70 for nonmembers. After Feb. 28, the cost is $70 for ANNA members and $90 for

Annual Pediatric Orthopaedic seminar, a course aimed at orthopedic surgeons, fellows and residents, will be at the Crowne Plaza Ravinia Perimeter in Atlanta. Case presentations will be designed to focus on a variety of issues in pediatric orthopedics and will be followed by brief discussions of evidence on the subject.
