Collier Heights: Civil rights suburb

An elaborate home on a hill with pink shutters and lions on the steps in Collier Heights, a west Atlanta neighborhood that is characterized by its ranches and split-levels. The neighborhood will be nominated for the National Register of Historic Places and if chosen, it will be the first post-war suburb in metro Atlanta on this list.
