"I was just driving by and was attracted to Winnstead Apartments," says Nichelle Grafton, a 43-year-old emergency room coder at Piedmont-Fayette hospital. "It was so clean, and each building has only four units. I really like that. Amenities: "There's a huge picnic area, and we have a racquetball court and tennis courts. Inside the clubhouse is a weight room, and we have a pool with resident-only access. It's so nice in that area that last year one of the tenants had a wedding there. The whole area is so green it looks like a nature preserve."

Activities: "The managers plan activities throughout the year. We've had single-mingles and meet-and-greets by the pool. We've had a barbecue, and one summer a bunch of the residents who have a band played for us."

The location: "I've been here three years. It's close to shopping and minutes from I-75 and I-675. I think it's a nice place to live. I have no plans to move," she said, smiling.
