The expanded partnership adds Delta’s code to Northwest’s routes from Tokyo’s Narita Airport to Seoul, Bangkok and Singapore. It also expands the airlines’ code-share markets to flights to Japan from Detroit, Minneapolis/St. Paul and Honolulu. The two carriers already share codes on trans-Pacific flights from Portland, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Northwest’s code is also being added to Delta’s daily Atlanta-Tokyo flight.
The changes go into effect Aug. 30.
