Are you shopping on Cyber Monday?
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Black Friday has really become THE day for holiday shopping.
But Cyber Monday (as in today), not so much.
New data from Yahoo! Shopping debunks the Cyber Monday myth. The most popular online shopping days this year are predicted to be Dec. 3 and Dec. 10 and shoppers are expected to look for merchandise such as LCD & Plasma TVs, Apple iPhones, and apparel.
Do you think there’s any truth to Cyber Monday?
Will you be shopping online today?

While cybershopping has its benefits, I much prefer to be at the stores. I love to see the decorations.
I mostly shop with cash so I know it’s all paid for on Christmas day, and there will not be any bills coming in January.
I don’t usually order on line, but this year we went to Alaska, so I want to purchase stuff from their web pages, and have it shipped.

No online shopping for me.I shop in person, with cash,in a small town where crime is pretty much non-existent.Zero balance on credit card, emergency use only.We only spend about fifty dollars anyway.

It depends. My wife has about given up on wanting a Wii, since we can’t find one - not even online.
If she decides to go with her second choice, I will be buying it online - today, if she informs me in time.

Dunno anything about Cyber Monday, but I will be shopping online, although I will buy some things in person, too. I like the convenience of online shopping, but like to see/touch somethings and to support my local mom/pop merchants as much as I can. Jeff, if you find that Wii, I’ll arm-wrestle you for it… just kidding. :-)

No online shopping for me today…yet!!! I’ll do it at home tonight. For those of you looking for a Wii, I am copying my post from another AJC blog. Hope it helps.
Stay busy looking if you want a Wii. My 9 YO son asked for one. I normally wouldn’t consider a high ticket item like this but he has worked hard this year in to make some changes & I think he earned it. I didn’t know it was popular until I started looking about 3 weeks ago and was told by numerous salesmen how it will be impossible. I checked 2-3 places a day for a week. After being tuned away at a Toys R Us one day, then going to Best Buy & Game Stop, only to find signs on their door stating that they were sold out, I ran into Target to pick up a few household essentials. I decided to stop in their electronics department & they had one Wii sitting in their locked cabinet. I actually teared-up as the sales kid unlocked the cabinet & handed me the Wii (I know, pathetic!). Anyway, If you really want it stay busy. The guy at Best Buy told me to check their ad on Saturday, if they are advertising the Wii then be at their store Sunday morning about an hour before they open- you may get one. Toys R Us said that Sunday is also the best day but you should be there an hour before they open. Game Stop said that Tuesday & Wednesday are the best bet. Good luck!
