Just like the jingling of bells, a stocking full of films always hits the big screen around the holidays.
We suggest buying a movie lover a pair of tickets to a highly anticipated film and a gift themed to match. Take a look under our tree.

"Enchanted"

Just when you thought Disney Stores couldn't get more princessy, it adds another jewel to its tiara. In the film "Enchanted," Disney's latest animated princess falls into the real world. The same goes for a royally large amount of "Enchanted" merchandise, which recently landed at Disney Stores.
Princesses in training can treat themselves to a makeover with the Enchanted Glamour Case ($19.50), a plastic lunch box-like carrier with a heart-shaped lock. It's packed with princess bling and play makeup. A flowing night gown ($34.50) doubles as a full-on princess costume and a pair of snazzy, pink slippers ($16.50) slides on easily with an elastic heel strap. A collection of toy jewelry, including earrings, comes in a set ($16.50) and matches a glistening tiara ($16.50). Sleeping beauties can slip into a pair of flared-leg jammies with ruffles ($24.50) or wrap up in a robe ($39.50). Girls choose from either the plush Giselle doll ($14.50) or the Barbie-style version ($12.50). And when they're done playing, they can toss everything into the Enchanted Pop-Up Storage Container ($19.50). Then it's time to eat with a full place setting including a plate, bowl, placemat and more ($5.50 each or three for $12).

Actor Will Smith's turn as the last man on earth was based on what some call one of the most influential vampire novels of all time. Written in 1954, Matheson sets the tale in a plague-ridden 1976 where survivors exist as bloodsucking fiends. Somehow antagonist Robert Neville is immune to the sickness and must battle the beasties.
"Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street"

Johnny Depp and company translate Stephen Sondheim's popular musical about a murderous barber into a feature film. The CD, which hits stores Dec. 18, contains the entire movie soundtrack with actors including Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Sacha Baron Cohen and Alan Rickman providing the vox. This version comes with an 80-page bound booklet with pictures and lyrics.
"The Golden Compass"

Fans of "The Golden Compass" can only find this upscale doll from Tonner Doll Company ($200) at FAO Schwarz. The 16-inch-tall likeness of actress Nicole Kidman as Mrs. Coulter has 13 points of articulation and dons a golden lace and satin sequined gown. Only a total of 300 dolls are being produced.
"Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem"

This manufacturer of high-end toys and collectibles has a full nest of both "Alien" and "Predator" swag. A fully posable Alien Warrior model kit ($129.99) — it has 18 points of articulation — stands 16 inches tall. An exact replica of the Predator Plasma Cannon Prop, the weapon perched on top off the space monster's shoulder, goes for $249.99. A miniature Alien head ($1,000) gets signed by H.R. Giger, the science fiction and fantasy artist who created the thing. Cosabys ($7.50 each) are squatty, big-headed, plastic caricatures of characters including the Alien Warrior, Celtic Predator, Alexa Woods and others. Since some of the products don't ship until early 2008, gift receivers will have to settle for a print-out picture until then.
"Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium"

Like "Toy Story" did before it, this film about a magical toy shop is reviving classic toys. This promotion spans several brands and features a seal of approval from the fictional toy store. The tin container housing the 55th Anniversary Mr. Potato Head ($14.99) has its embossed stamp. The same goes for the Dr. Duck ($19.99) wooden toy, the Chatter Telephone ($9.99), the Original Rubik's Cube ($9.99) and other retro toys that are part of the collective consciousness.
