Last year, he went 4-1 with four saves and a 2.33 ERA. • Brent Allen, senior pitcher, Heritage: Allen was 8-0 on the hill for the Patriots in 2006 and is 13-2 over the last two years. • Jake Davies, junior pitcher, Eagle's Landing Christian: Davies is a rising star for the Class A champions. Last year he went 12-2 with a 1.28 ERA and hit .448. • Will Smith, senior pitcher, Northgate: A year ago, Smith won nine games and struck out 110 batters. • Dexter Kelly, senior catcher, North Atlanta: Kelly hit .528 a year ago with eight home runs and 38 RBI. • Jay Austin, junior outfielder/pitcher, North Atlanta: Austin hit .500 last season and drove in 36 runs; also went 5-3 on mound. • Daniel Warzon, Collins Hill, senior outfielder/pitcher: Hit .396 with eight home runs (and 62 total bases) last season for the Eagles and went 2-2 with a 2.06 ERA and 22 strikeouts in 23 2/3 innings pitched. |
