VA opens area's largest counseling center

The U.S. Department of Veteran's Affairs will open the largest VA counseling center in metro Atlanta on Nov. 14.
L. Tammy Duckworth, VA assistant secretary for public and intergovernmental affairs, will be the keynote speaker at the opening of the Marietta Vet Center, 40 Dodd Street, Suite 700. The event begins at 11:30 a.m.
The center will provide readjustment counseling to combat veterans, bereavement counseling to relatives of service members who die on active duty and military sexual trauma counseling to all veterans.
