Morehouse School of Medicine to help earthquake victims
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
The Morehouse School of Medicine has established a fund to provide aid to Haiti following a devastating magnitude-7.0 earthquake.
Donations to the MSM Haiti Relief Fund will be sent to Atlanta-based CARE.
The medical school and the Caribbean nation have a strong relationship. In 2009, as part of Project Medishare, faculty and students of the MSM International Health Council went on a six-day medical mission to Haiti. It was the second such mission.
To make an online donation to the Haiti Relief Fund, go to www.msm.edu or contact Staphea Campbell in the Office of Institutional Advancement at (404) 752-1926.
